Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely room we got, even though we booked late. The large Jacuzzi bath was a nice touch, even though I prefer a regular-sized bath. The hotel could do with a lick of paint, but overall, it was a comfortable stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, while offering nice sea views, were a bit basic. Although they had a fan, the small double bed was not comfortable. On the bright side, the service was top-notch, with friendly and informative staff serving lovely food full of character and British seaside charm. The location couldn't be better, right on the seafront with easy access to various attractions. Dining was a highlight, providing generous and enjoyable meals, especially the evening options.
The hotel was not as spacious as expected for the price, and the included breakfast had discrepancies between dishes. The bed had some structural issues, and the room showed signs of wear and tear. However, the location was excellent with sea views and easy access to the town center.
The hotel offers a stunning floor-to-ceiling sea view and a clean, airy room with a lovely secret balcony, providing a delightful stay. The location is superb with great sea views, perfect for visits to the Brighton Centre, although street noise can be a drawback. The service is friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Dining features top-notch dishes overlooking the sea, while the facilities are satisfactory overall.
The hotel has its ups and downs. While the rooms are comfy with quirky furnishings and decorations, they can be a bit challenging to reach due to the stairs. It's peaceful and quiet at the back, though the value for money is not exceptional. The service is excellent, with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The location offers beautiful sea views and is great for quick access to attractions, but it might not be the best choice for everyone.
